6:00 AM - Arrive at Belleville East – set parade block on Central Terrace. Please arrive dressed in your gray band shirt, your band issued shorts shorts, black socks and black shoes. You will get your bibbers and shakos upon your arrival at East.  You will recieve a bottled water when you get off the bus in St. Louis. That is all you will get until we start the parade so prepare yourself for the march. You will also be issued your water carrier so drink a little often. Save your water.

6:20 AM - Begin Setting Parade Block

6:30 AM - Parade block complete

7:00 AM or sooner - We will load buses and depart for St. Louis as soon as the parade block is set.

7:45 AM - Arrive at St. Louis – stretch, fundamentals and warm up

10:00 AM - Parade step off

12:30 PM - Award Ceremony at the end of the parade

1:00 PM - Return to East by bus. This is an estimated time. Parents if you are picking your student up at the end of the parade, you will need to do so before we are loaded to leave. We won't be able to wait for you. After we depart, you can meet us back at East.

Items to Note:

*Make sure that all Marching Lancers eat healthy (drink lots of fluids – water/ gatorade) in preparation for the VP Fair Performance!!!

*Long hair must be worn so that it can go up and into the shako and off your shoulders. The hat has to be worn properly with the brim down to the bridge of the nose.

*Parade Route: Begins at 20th and Market and travels toward the Gateway Arch, ending at Broadway and Market. The awards ceremony will be held near the end of the parade route at Kiner Plaza.

*You will be guaranteed a performance in the judging area. There are two judging areas on Market Street. One at 14th Street and another at Tucker.

*We will also probably play on the last block for the big crowd there. Hope to see you all there in your light blue!!!  Make sure to make a lot of noise for the Marching Lancers and while you are at it, cheer on everyone else too.

*If you are picking up your child at the end of the parade, please find our buses (Belleville Schools) and you can take them from there. Otherwise, the bus will depart for home immediately after the awards.
