Please wear the correct uniform. If you wear a long sleeved shirt underneath your
jacket, please make sure that it is black and cannot be seen from under
the uniform. Also remember your black socks and marching shoes. Plan
to wear appropriate attire under your pants. Do not plan to layer your pants. Parents if you wish to pick up your student after the parade, please meet us at the end of the parade when we get there. The parade route turns right on Market and travels toward Union Station. We ended last year a few blocks East of Union Station. You should be able to find the buses. A great place to sit would be at the judges stations. You can find them by locating the cherry picker style lift.
The band will be wearing pink sashes and guard will be wearing pink headbands to bring awareness to cancer simultaneously honoring Mrs. Walker.
Christmas in St. Louis is running the blankets for the homeless campaign again. If you wish to make a donation, bring a blanket to wrap yourself in too keep warm. Just before we step off, they will collect the blankets as a donation and you can help out a lot of people.
The weather looks like rain on Thursday. A high in the upper 30s so with movement, you may be a little chilly. Please arrive and plan to march no matter what. We will make a call to not march the parade if it is raining at parade time.
